The goal is to guess a secret five-letter word in six tries. Type on your keyboard or tap the letters on screen, then press Enter. As you guess, different colors help you to get closer to the hidden word.
- GGreen = right letter, right spot.
- GYellow = one of the neighboring letters is in the word in this spot. On the keyboard, those possible letters also light up yellow.
- GCyan = either this letter or a neighboring letter is in the word in another spot. On the keyboard, those possible letters also light up cyan.
- GGray = neither this letter nor any neighboring letter is in the word. On the keyboard, a gray letter is not in the word.
Neighbors
A letter's neighbors are the keys directly left, right, above and below it on this game's keyboard. Diagonals don't count. G's neighbors are F, H, T and B.
Example
Say the secret word is FLAME and you guess GRAPE.
GRAPE
- Gis yellow: its neighbor F belongs in this spot.
- Ris cyan: R is not in the word, but its neighbors E and F are, in other spots.
- Ais green: right letter, right spot.
- Pis gray: neither P nor its only neighbor, O, is in the word.
- Eis green too.
Good to know
If you enter an invalid word, it will be highlighted in pink. Erase it before trying again.
